  8.               AST PREMIUM 486/33 TOWER EISA AND DPTFMT PROGRAM

  11. PROBLEM:       When installing SCO UNIX software on a Premium 486/33 Tower
  12.                EISA system with the DPT Host Bus adapter provided by AST, the
  13.                following error will be displayed during installation:
  14.  
  15.                "WARNING: No Configuration Information for SDisk Unit 0."
  16.  
  17. AFFECTED
  18. SYSTEMS:       AST Premium 486/33 Tower EISA with the following system board:
  19.  
  20.                202377-001
  21.  
  22. CAUSE:         AST's DPTFMT program does not configure the hard drive type
  23.                properly.
  24.  
  25. SOLUTION:      This problem has been resolved with release 1.01 of AST's
  26.                Driver Support Diskette.  Customers experiencing this problem
  27.                should contact AST and order the following Software upgrade
  28.                and Installation Reference document:
